Kincraft ("Kincraft," "we," "us") is operated by the Kincraft team, based in California, USA. This policy explains what we collect through our waitlist and what we do with it. We've written it to be short and plain, because that's how we build everything.

What we collect

Right now, only what you choose to give us when you join the waitlist:

• Your email address.
• Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, which you provide when you sign up.

We also record the date you joined and your consent, so we have a record that you opted in.

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics cookies, or hidden data collection on our waitlist page. No dark patterns — the same commitment we make on our homepage.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use your email only to:

• Let you know when Kincraft opens, and
• Send occasional updates from the workshop, as described when you signed up.

Our legal basis for this is your consent, which you give when you join and then confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email we send you. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your choices and rights" below). We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who processes your data

We use Kit (ConvertKit) to store the waitlist and send our emails. Kit processes your email on our behalf as our email service provider; their handling of it is governed by their own privacy terms. We do not send your waitlist email to any other third party.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need the waitlist — whichever comes first. When we no longer need it, we delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing privacy@kincraft.com. Unsubscribing removes you from our list.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information — including the right to access, correct, or delete it, to withdraw consent, or to object to how we use it. This includes rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and, for subscribers in the EU or UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@kincraft.com and we'll respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, let our waitlist know by email.
